Become a Functional Assessor, working for a leading health assessment provider. This role offers structured hours, predictable workloads, and the opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a non-clinical, non-treatment environment. You’ll assess individuals with a wide range of physical, mental health, cognitive, and learning disability conditions—producing clear, evidence‑based clinical reports that support DWP Personal Independence Payment (PIP) decisions. This role is ideal for nurses who want stability, transferable skills, and a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct telephone, video, and face-to-face functional assessments Review and interpret medical evidence to understand day‑to‑day functional impact Produce clear, concise, and accurate clinical reports using multiple IT systems Maintain NMC standards and participate in ongoing CPD Work autonomously while being supported by experienced clinical teams What We’re Looking For NMC registration as an RGN, RMN, or RNLD Minimum 12 months post‑qualification experience Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision‑making skills Excellent communication and report-writing ability Comfortable using IT systems and typing at 30 wpm (minimum) Why Apply?
