The Role
As an Enterprise Architect (Security), you will be providing strategical architectural leadership across UK IT, aligning technology decisions with business outcomes.
Day-to-day, you’ll own architecture roadmaps, standards, and governance, ensuring solutions are secure by design, scalable and cost-effective acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering against the Enterprise Architecture Services model including Strategic & Business Alignment, Governance & Assurance, Operations & Enablement, Business Domain Architecture, Technology Architecture and Regional and Federation Leadership
2. Defining and maintaining multi-year (2-5 year) roadmaps for infrastructure, security, business systems and data
3. Shaping and maintaining digital and data strategy aligned to business capability needs
4. Engaging with stakeholders and communicating architectural decisions across business and IT
5. Maintaining capability maps and defining/maintaining professional standards for architecture to recognised frameworks
6. Coaching architects and engineers fostering knowledge sharing and standards adoption
Essential experience of the Enterprise Architect (Security):
7. Extensive experience in enterprise scale IT architecture or senior technical roles
8. Demonstrable experience with cross platform security requirements and modern threat landscapes
9. Strong communications skills and the ability to articulate strategies
10. Previous experience of working with cyber security teams and an understanding of relevant frameworks, e.g., NIST, ISO 27001 and Secure by design
11. The ability to implement governance with experience in standards, wavers, risk management and lifecycle control
12. Previous experience maintaining security architecture standards, patterns and reusable components
Essential qualifications for the Enterprise Architect (Security):
13. A degree in Computer Science/Systems or a related field or equivalent experience
14. TOGAF certified or equivalent

This role is 37 hours per week based at any of our main UK locations. Shift patterns for this role are between 07:30 – 18:30 and you may be asked to work at specific times. You will be required to participate in an on-call rota.
