Overview
Delivery Postie with Driving role at Royal Mail. Location: Yeovil Delivery Office, BA20 1AA. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 37 hours per week, 5 days across Monday – Sunday, typically 08:15–16:45 or 11:30–18:00. Occasional Sundays may be required on a rota basis due to operational demand.

Responsibilities
* Deliver mail and parcels on assigned routes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Provide friendly, professional customer service to the public and local businesses.
* Walk and drive as required, working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Represent Royal Mail professionally and maintain a positive image in the community.
Qualifications
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Ability to walk and carry out deliveries for extended periods.
* Upbeat, independent, self-motivated and customer-focused.
* Organised, punctual and capable of delivering great service.

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
* Paid overtime at x1.25 for hours over 40 per week.
* 22.5 days holiday per year, increasing with length of service (pro-rated for part-time hours).

Please note: Roles listed as between 35–40 hours per week are described as full-time for candidate search purposes; contracts for roles under 40 hours will be classed as part-time in the employment contract.
