Robert Half is partnering with a well-known Bristol-based charity to recruit an interim management accountant for an initial six-month engagement.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, ensuring the smooth delivery of month-end reporting and providing reliable financial insight to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
* Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the nominal ledger
* Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
* Cash flow monitoring and reporting
* Producing financial reports for grant funding and restricted income
* Liaising with budget holders to provide financial support and challenge
About you:
* Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
* Proven management accounts experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector
* Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and hitting the ground running
