JOB TITLE: Remote Apprenticeship Delivery Trainer/Tutor
Digital Support Technician Level 3 /Application Support Lead Level 4
LOCATION: Remote role
Salary - £40-42k
Role Summary
The ICT Tutor/Trainer will support apprentices remotely to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours through online delivery. Preparing learners for gateway to completion in a timely manner and ensuring they have the required level of competence to achieve the highest grade possible at apprenticeship assessment (EPA).
Skills and Experience required
Experience delivering Apprenticeship standards for Digital Support Technician Level 3 and Application Support Lead Level 4
Level 3 award in education & training or equivalent - Essential
GCSE grade C/4 or above Functional Skills level 2 or above in English - Essential
GCSE grade C/4 or above Functional Skills level 2 or above in Maths - Essential
TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33 assessor qualification - Desirable
Relevant Qualifications in Specialist Area- Desirable
Ability to motivate and support individuals against milestones and targets
Working to deadlines and targets whilst maintaining own diary
Strong working knowledge of IT - data analytics, Power BI, Python for example
Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Role and Responsibilities
Deliver a structured learning journey for all apprentices, adhering to the requirements of the delivered standards, ensuring consistency and fairness throughout.
Deliver engaging remote online knowledge sessions.
Ensure that evidence for learning is captured efficiently and effectively in the required formats.
Engage with the learners line manager/mentor, making clear their responsibilities in the apprentices journey and working collaboratively to provide support, guidance and identify opportunities for learning.
Conduct regular progress reviews with learners, mentors and employers.
Manage a caseload of learners at the agreed volume relevant to the programme delivered.
Ensure that electronic evidence recording systems are regularly updated and give an accurate reflection of each learners progress.
Support each learners end to end journey from start to EPA.
Complete the marking of learners portfolio submissions.
Work with employers to ensure that learning programmes are individualised and that all parties are involved in the process.
Support the development of training materials and programmes, drawing on sector expertise and CPD to ensure that our delivery remains at the forefront for each sector.
Provide pastoral and safeguarding support for learners.
Deliver personalised careers information, advice and guidance to apprentices fostering their professional growth, development and wellbeing.
