We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Humanities with the ability to contribute to the delivery of Economics at Key Stage 5. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to join a supportive and high‑performing department, with scope to develop their experience in teaching Economics. The successful candidate will:
* Support the planning, delivery and ongoing development of the Economics curriculum at Key Stage 5
* Teach highly effective lessons that engage, challenge and inspire students
* Monitor student progress and contribute to strategies that secure strong outcomes
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the department
* Hold strong subject knowledge in a Humanities discipline and Economics, or be willing to develop this quickly
* Be an effective classroom practitioner with a track record of positive student outcomes
* Demonstrate the ability to engage and enthuse students about Economics
* Have experience teaching Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5
* Be committed, enthusiastic and driven, with a passion for inspiring young people
* Be keen to contribute to the continued success of a high-performing school and sixth‑form
* Be willing to engage in ongoing professional development
