Job Description
We are working exclusively with a prominent company in the nuclear sector, who is currently seeking a Risk Manager for a contract position. This role involves interacting with senior stakeholders and shaping the organisation's approach to risk tools and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implementing and managing risk tools within the organisation
* Shaping and maintaining risk reporting processes
* Collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance risk management strategies
* Supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk management tools
* Providing comprehensive risk assessments and monitoring risk exposure
* Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
* Offering expert guidance on risk-related matters
* Contributing to continuous improvement of risk practices within the nuclear industry
Job Requirements:
* Experience in risk and compliance management
* Hands-on experience using PRA or a comparable risk management tool/platform
* Proven capability in supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk tools
* Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Understanding of the nuclear industry and its specific risk challenges
* Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in risk management
About the Contract:
* 6-month initial contract
* Potential for extension based on project needs and performance
