So, what will I be doing?
As an Engineering Stores Assistant, you will join the Engineering team at an established food manufacturing company committed to producing great British dairy the right way. You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date engineering spare parts to ensure effective and efficient production. Your involvement will be key in our journey to become a truly world-class Engineering team.
This is a part-time role, up to 32 hours per week, preferably Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
1. Carrying out stock checks and booking in parts for the engineering stores in Blagdon.
2. Minimising downtime by ensuring critical parts are available.
3. Assisting with part identification, working closely with OEMs and suppliers.
4. Supporting project work, including introducing new parts for new plant and equipment.
5. Continuously improving store layout and parts identification to optimise equipment uptime.
What Do I Need?
* Experience working in engineering stores is beneficial.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
* Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments is preferred but not essential.
* Experience assisting with stores management is preferred.
* PEMAC or IFS system experience is a bonus.
