Overview
As a Senior Project Buyer at Nomilk2day, you play a crucial role in purchasing materials, components, and services for water treatment and biogas projects.
Responsibilities
* Procure project materials with a focus on timely delivery.
* Improve delivery certainty, lead time, terms, and price‑quality ratio.
* Prepare and evaluate purchase contracts following the Total Cost of Ownership principle.
* Maintain relationships with suppliers in a mutually beneficial interest.
* Create overviews of product‑supplier combinations and outsourced capital goods.
* Advise on commercial product and supplier information.
* Report on KPIs and share insights with relevant internal departments.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a commercial field with an affinity for applied technology.
* At least 5 years of experience in a tactical and/or strategic purchasing function in a technical environment.
* Legally competent to prepare and evaluate purchase contracts.
* Good command of Dutch and English; knowledge of German, French, and/or Spanish is a plus.
* Experience with KPI reporting and analysis.
* Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership principles.
