This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious FD to lead meaningful change within a growing SME environment.
Your new role
You will work closely with the CEO and members of the senior leadership team to help drive financial strategy and achieve ambitious growth plans. Thepany is looking to increase its revenue by 60% over the next 3 years and, as such, is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead that growth. You will have full autonomy over the daily financial operations, the development of systems and processes and have significant input into themercial strategy of the business. More specifically, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Management of the existing finance team, including the upskilling and development of staff members
2. Implementation, development and optimisation of the new ERP/CRM system
3. Driving improvements and efficiencies in financial analysis and reporting
4. Managing cash flow
5. Creating and developing financial growth strategy
6. Enhancement of financial controls
7. Working with senior leadership on forecasting models
8. Business partnering with operational parts of the business to maximise revenue
9. Board reporting and interpretation of financial information
10. Oversight of statutory reporting processes.
This role is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday. The role will be primarily office-based, but some flexibility could be afforded for the right candidate.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally:
11. Be a fully qualified accountant
12. Have experience in construction, product installation or similar building services industry
13. Have experience of implementing and developing financial systems and processes
14. Have strong cash flow management experience
15. Have experience working with PE-backed businesses
16. Be a 'people-focused' leader with strongmunication and stakeholder management experience
What you'll get in return
You will receive apetitive salary of between £70-100,000 per annum, apany car, 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays), private medical insurance, an enhanced pension scheme and a profit-related bonus.
