Company Overview
You will be joining a very prestigious and well-established Professional Services business as their Payroll Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a newly created role, supporting both the Finance and HR teams, and working closely with the outsourced Payroll function. This role will report directly into the Group Finance Manager. Based in their super modern City of London office 3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 2 days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end Payroll and remuneration process across the group, managing the outsourced Payroll provider across multiple jurisdictions, serving as the primary point of contact for all employee payroll queries and preparing monthly staff cost reports with variance analysis vs. budget/forecast. You will process all new starters, leaves, absences, statutory leave, pay and benefits, and reconcile all fixed pay instructions. You will be involved in administering carry and equity schemes in collaboration with the Legal and HR teams. You will prepare journals for submission to finance along with any other information required to ensure accurate financial statements.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 5 years of experience managing Payroll, with a proven track record of overseeing an outsourced Payroll provider. You will have a strong understanding of statutory and legislative Payroll regulations, have excellent attention to detail with a strong controls mindset and be able to perform manual calculations when required. You will have a team-orientated approach with the ability to collaborate across functions. You will have strong communication skills and ideally have experience administering carry and/or equity schemes. Exposure to multi-jurisdiction Payrolls across multiple markets would be advantageous. You will be comfortable with financial close processes including Payroll-related balance sheets and Audit support.

You will receive an annual salary of up to £70,000 + Excellent Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
