Working closely with another Senior People Advisor, you will act as an operational expert providing day-to-day advice, guidance and coaching to the business. Acting as a support to the Strategic People Partners in the delivery of an efficient and effective service to their client groups, you will be the first point of contact for all people-related advice and support.
Reporting to the Strategic People Partner you will have direct responsibility for the coaching and development of People Advisors. As a people expert, the Senior People Advisor will support transformational projects to enhance colleagues' experience and aid in the delivery of a high-performing culture across believe housing.
This will see you leading on coaching line managers through first and second-line people-related issues, concerns and development needs to enable and empower them to manage their people effectively and consistently. You will provide HR advice and support when required in the management of casework including investigations into conduct, capability and grievances. In liaison with colleagues you will provide advice, guidance and administrative support on job design, organisational change, restructuring and redeployment processes, advising on best practice, procedures and appropriate legislation whilst working closely with and supporting the People Advisors to provide an efficient customer centric service to the directorates.
This role is for an initial period of 18 months, and we are seeking HR generalists who are able to commence a role with a maximum of 4 weeks’ notice. You will bring excellent experience of working on complex ER cases as part of a wider HR generalist remit. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks of different disciplines is desirable along with experience of change and transformation.
There are some superb benefits available with a salary of up to £44,420 plus 31 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising by a day per year up to 33 days) and an exceptional pension scheme.
This role offers flexibility with hybrid working based upon business needs and there is the opportunity to spend your days on site at either of believe housing’s sites in Seaham or Bishop Auckland.
