We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring the efficient flow of materials, parts, and equipment across the business. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing inventory, while supporting shop floor operations through accurate kitting and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, unpack, and check goods against purchase orders or invoices.
Manage the storage, traceability, and batch control of all parts.
Pick, package, and issue stock items in line with customer and shop floor requirements.
Conduct stock checks, cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure compliance with the quality manual, business unit policies, and SOF best practices.
Support shop floor demand signals through timely kitting and deployment.
Maintain and file Goods Received Notes and records of receipt.
Operate ERP transactions for inventory movement.
Carry out 5S activities and uphold all EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) principles.
Perform additional reasonable duties as requested.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a stores/materials handling environment (essential).
Previous experience in a regulated industry (Aerospace desirable).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow business processes.
Computer literacy (ERP experience beneficial).
Flexible, customer-oriented approach with excellent time management skills.
