The Role As an Internal Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing sales enquiries, developing technical solutions, and supporting clients with high-quality, tailored advice. Key Responsibilities * Manage and triage incoming sales enquiries. * Create and issue technical and commercial offers. * Interpret customer specifications and propose fit-for-purpose technical solutions. * Follow up on enquiries and ensure a smooth handover of orders. * Own and resolve customer queries efficiently, including pricing, stock availability, and alternative solutions. * Liaise with global colleagues across multiple departments and facilities. * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. * Support technical meetings, training sessions, and client visits when required. About You To thrive in this role, you will have: * A strong working knowledge of Electric Motors, Geared Motors, Variable Speed Drives, and related industrial automation/power transmission equipment. * A minimum ONC (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * At least 3 years of experience in a technical sales or internal sales engineering position. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * The ability to stay composed under pressure and meet key performance targets. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a bonus. * A proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
