We now have an opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) to join our Management Accounts Team at Lancaster House in Leyland (Lancashire)
.
As our Finance Manager, you'll produce monthly management accounts including all supporting activities and schedules. You'll prepare additional reports and supporting schedules for quarterly reporting and the year end audit as well as supporting other key finance tasks such as VAT return
s.

tiesProduce management accounts that are reviewed to highlight variances to budget/forecast; including accruals, prepayments, analysis of accounts and key P&L reconciliat
ionsAssist with production of supporting schedules for annual statutory accounts & tax ret
urnsAnalysis of monthly costs & investigation of variances to budget/fore
castEnsure balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed in line with group timetable and any issues are highlighted, investigated and acti
onedInvestigate and report on significant variances against budget/fore
castIdentify P&L & BS risks/opportunities that may affect forec
astsAssist with preparation of annual budgets & monthly and quarterly forec
astsHold regular aged debtor & creditor meetings and ensure aged items are investigated and cle
aredLiaise with internal and external auditors & provide accurate & timely information to aid a smooth auditing proc
ess.Identify inefficient processes and propose cha
ngesOversee the preparation of VAT and other regulatory retu
rns.Manage intercompany reconciliation process and settlem
