With a full practice refurbishment completed in late 2025 and well‑equipped surgical and diagnostic facilities at both sites, Alphapet is growing fast. We're looking for a confident and capable Veterinary Surgeon - whether you're surgically driven, an all‑rounder, consult‑focused, or keen to build a larger ultrasound caseload.

What We Offer
Work in a newly refurbished clinic with the latest digital X‑ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in‑house lab equipment. Our newest site includes 4 consult rooms (one is a dedicated space for Nurses), Theatre, separate dog and cat waiting rooms & client quiet room.
* Flexible Working Hours: Full‑time or part‑time opportunities to fit your lifestyle. We offer a range of shift patterns, with core shifts between 8 am and 7 pm. You can even work a 4‑day week for a better work‑life balance! 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. No OOH or BH.

* A Supportive and Experienced Team: You'll be joining a team of 3 experienced Vets, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses (1 exotic Nurse), 1 Student Nurse, and a dedicated reception team. Together, we foster a collaborative environment that supports your growth, learning, and development.
* Caseload: You'll see small animal and small furries but we can also offer wildlife and an exotic caseload if this is an interest.

* A Soft Tissue Surgery Certificate Holder (reconstructive, orthopaedic, GI, neuro/lameness)
* Vets with special interests in dentistry, surgery and ECC

* 40‑hour week with true flexibility (including 4‑day week options)
* 1 in 4 Saturday morningsNo OOH. No bank holidays.
* Surgery running 5 days/week at West Meads and 3 days/week at Chichester
* Roles can be shaped around your strengths - surgery‑heavy, balanced GP, or consult‑led
