We're now looking for an Housing Coordinator (Extra Care) to join our team on a Permanent basis If you're organised, proactive, have your own vehicle and ready to support the care and wellbeing of our residents, we'd love to hear from you. About the role As a Housing Coordinator (Extra Care), you will deliver high-quality services across facilities management and housing management to tenants living in Progress Housing's extra care schemes. In this role, you will maintain regular contact with tenants to check on their welfare and respond to their individual needs. You will signpost tenants to appropriate sources of support, advice and advocacy, ensuring they can access the help they need. You will also complete personal information sheets for new tenants and review these annually, or sooner if required, to ensure records remain accurate and up to date. You will be a calm and reassuring presence during emergencies, responding to situations that arise during working hours and providing practical assistance until family members or emergency services arrive. In addition, you will act as a key link between tenants, their families, friends and external agencies, helping to ensure clear and effective communication. This is a full-time role, working 36.25 hours per week on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This position will be based in Lancaster, however whilst the service gets up and running you need to be willing to travel to other schemes as required and attend meetings and your induction at our Leyland office, as such you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
* Someone who hold a Full U.K Driving licence with access to their own vehicle.
* Confidence in using IT and learning new systems.
* Able to work in a fast environment and adapt to change.
* Experience of working within social housing / health and safety or building management would be preferred but not essential.
* A positive and friendly approach.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Good organisational skills.
