Litigation Solicitor * Senior Associate Solicitor OR Partner Level hire Location: Newbury, Berkshire Firm: Established and Reputable Law Firm
About the Firm
Our client is a long-established and highly respected law firm based in Newbury, Berkshire, known for delivering high-quality legal services to a prestigious client base. Due to continued growth, the firm is now looking to appoint a Senior Litigation Solicitor
at Senior Associate or Partner level to strengthen its Dispute Resolution team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Complex Litigation Matters: Handle a broad range of contentious work, providing strategic legal advice and representation across commercial and civil disputes to include commercial property litigation
* Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior fee earners and support staff, including a dedicated Paralegal/Secretary, fostering a collaborative team environment
* Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with the firm’s existing client base, while actively seeking opportunities for new business
* Strategic Contribution: Play an integral role in shaping the future direction of the team and the wider firm through active involvement in business development and strategic planning

Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales): Minimum of 10 years’ PQE with a solid track record in litigation
* Technical Excellence: Proven experience handling complex disputes, preferably including commercial litigation
* Leadership Capability: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
* Commercial Acumen: A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to drive business development initiatives
* Strategic Mindset: Comfortable contributing to firmwide strategic and growth discussions
