An exciting opportunity has developed in Business Support generating a vacancy for an Executive Support Officer in the Leaders Office. The role will be fast paced and will include providing a dedicated support service to the Executive Councillors of Lincolnshire County Council. The ESO role will develop strong close working relationships with the Executive Office, other districts, key partners and stakeholders, establishing clear lines of communication between Lincolnshire and other authorities. No two days will be the same, dealing with high level (internal and external) sensitive/political and confidential matters of the moment. The ability to multitask, juggle conflicting priorities, have excellent time management skills and attention to detail especially preparing official documents and reports. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with government officials and community members.
Responsibilities
* Schedule Management: Organise and maintain calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
* Communication: Act as a point of contact between the executive leads and internal/external stakeholders, handling phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
* Meeting Coordination: Arrange and coordinate meetings and events, prepare agendas, and ensure all necessary materials are available for discussions on local governance, policy-making, and community projects.
* Minute taking: In person meeting attendance where necessary, to capture key points, actions and support with IT and presentation delivery.
* Document Preparation: Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents related to local government initiatives and public policies.
* Travel Arrangements: Plan and book travel, including conferences, events, accommodation, and transport.
* Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion, particularly regarding local government strategies and community relations.

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
