Summary Acorn Engineering are seeking a motivated and organised Scheduler to join our Operations team. This role is central to ensuring our technicians are efficiently scheduled to meet client demands and deliver a high standard of service. Maintain and update engineer resource planners with accurate information. Schedule reactive and planned works based on technician location, expertise, and response targets. Ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs, escalating high-risk items as needed. Liaise with technicians via phone and email to resolve scheduling queries. Manage technician holiday/sickness cover and out-of-hours rotas. Organise calibration of gas analysers and overtime requirements. Accurately record job details using the Concept Evolution CAFM system. Submit weekly timesheets and support team productivity. Candidate Profile We’re looking for someone who: Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Can work independently and as part of a team. Is customer-focused and understands the importance of brand image. Has experience in scheduling within the M&E industry. Is familiar with CAFM systems (Concept Evolution preferred). Has intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Qualifications GCSEs (A–C) in Maths and English.
