Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, delivering care on the Isle of Wight, is pleased to offer a Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop into caring, compassionate professionals who uphold NHS values and the standards of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Through diverse clinical placements and a rigorous academic program, our apprentice nurses will learn to deliver skilled, evidence-based care in partnership with patients, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other registered care professional, focusing on promoting health and independence.
2. Demonstrate attitudes and behaviors aligned with NHS Values.
3. Work as part of a clinical and care team to meet the direct needs of individuals.
4. Carry out delegated clinical and care tasks to a high standard under supervision.
5. Develop own clinical competence, leadership, and reflective practice skills with the support of practice assessors and supervisors.
6. Provide feedback to improve the apprenticeship program.
7. By the end of the program, work independently, delivering care in line with individual care plans within the scope of practice.
