Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst located at our Bracknell HQ, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Support lead manager on customer credit analysis and risk rating of the portfolio
2. Monitors and proactively manages risk/exposures and compliance with policies for credit risk portfolio. Support global team with credit data analysis to formulate practical portfolio problem solving models
3. Monitor performance of AR credit quality and analyze AR performance, aging, trends, risk exposure and advise business leadership teams in actions to be taken. Supporting management reporting for KPIs
4. Work in collaboration with the CIR organization to implement frameworks and global governance policies. Review and approve requests related to credit limits or payment terms. Participate on cross functional teams to identify opportunities and support initiatives for process improvements, centralization, and standardization
5. Provide financial counsel and analysis on DSO initiatives to the business group leaders and team, influencing business thinking.
6. Leading SAP readiness and deployment activities related to the Credit Risk
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
7. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited institution
8. Credit-related professional certification preferred
9. Significant experience in credit risk management
10. Prior experience in data analytics, data management, and/or risk and accounts receivable analysis
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include
11. Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, basic accounting practices, and financial principles, with the ability to assess and interpret the working capital impact of credit risk decisions
12. Demonstrated analytical reasoning skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively and assertively while remaining adaptable, collaborative, and solution-oriented
13. Strong written and verbal communication skills
14. Experience in Credit and Collections preferred
15. Proficiency in SAP preferred

17. Travel expectations - May include up to 5% domestic/international
18. This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office at Bracknell, Berkshire, UK
