We are looking for a Project Engineer on London Underground to support, where appropriate, all technical and commercial aspects of the mechanical and electrical installation on BB projects, ensure that operations on site are carried out in a safe manner and ensure that the companys business processes are followed in carrying out the construction project The role requires management experience within Rail construction or relevant support services industries, together with a strong understanding of technical issues and trends in the rail sectors including specialist markets and cabling. What you'll be doing Review of the Estimate/Tender for the project, in conjunction with the project team, to fully determine and understand the conditions, requirements, deliverables, risks and liabilities of the works as defined and awarded by the Client. Organisation of the resources necessary to execute the project in a safe, efficient and profitable manner Communication to project team of all necessary information including contract conditions, specifications, drawings, work instructions and BB policies and procedures for the execution of the project. Supervision and motivation of project team, including training and development, in the execution of the project and maintaining good industrial relations throughout Who we're looking for The ideal candidate should have experience of traction power supply systems for Rail Projects. A valid CSCS card Experience in Traction Power and London Underground / Rail sector A background in electrical switchgear desired with a working knowledge of Rail applications, is required.
