What you will be involved in
* Planning and conducting user research to understand the needs, behaviours, and experiences of people using digital services.
* Selecting appropriate research methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and observational studies.
* Analysing and synthesising research findings into clear, actionable insights.
* Sharing research outcomes to inform service, content, and interaction design decisions.
* Working collaboratively with stakeholder, UCD and product development teams.
* Advocating for user-centred design across multidisciplinary teams.
* Supporting continuous testing and improvement of services throughout delivery.
* Ensuring research activities follow ethical, safeguarding, and data protection standards.
Technical Requirements
* Experience planning and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative user research.
* Knowledge of a range of research methods and when to apply them.
* Ability to analyse research data and communicate insights clearly.
* Experience designing and running usability testing.
* Understanding of accessibility and inclusive research practices.
* Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments.
* Ability to recruit and engage diverse participant groups.
* Familiarity with research tools, recording methods, and insight reporting techniques.

* Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
