Description
As a Regional Inventory Manager, you will lead all aspects of Goods In, stores control and inventory management to support both internal and external business objectives for your Regional area. You will be responsible for stock management for our Midlands and Southern depots, working closely with the Operation’s Teams to ensure all contracts have their required stock.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of all depot and inventory operations
* Develop the depot control system for your region, to ensure improved controls are in place
* Focus on cost savings, productivity costs, quality control and error reduction
* Define efficient utilisation of space and stock, ensuring quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
* Determine and measure depot capacity / utilisation usage
* Lead the implementation of metrics to eliminate excess inventory
* Develop, maintain and control depot KPI's, targeting stock levels, stock turns, and cycle counting and total inventory costs
* Comply with the Company's Health and Safety policies for the well-being of all employees within the company
* Extract and analyse transactional data in order to effect daily operational changes and use these to provide daily / weekly data to key business stakeholders
Experience and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience of managing at a regional level
