The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Responsible Individual (RI) to oversee and lead our children's residential services. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving quality, safeguarding, and regulatory excellence across multiple homes.
You'll provide both strategic leadership and hands-on oversight, ensuring children and young people receive the highest standard of child-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 and CIW standards.
Lead and support Registered Managers and service teams.
Set performance objectives and monitor service delivery.
Conduct regular service visits, audits, and quality checks. (Reg 73 & 80)
Oversee regulatory obligations.
Maintain strong relationships with CIW, 4C's, families, and commissioning bodies (Local Authorities).
Promote staff training, professional development, and best practice.
Represent the organisation in inspections, feedback meetings, and strategic planning.
Ensure children, young people, families and support staff have a voice in shaping services.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in a CIW-registered children's residential setting (RI experience essential).
* Qualified with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children & Young People).
* Able to demonstrate 5+ years' leadership experience in children's residential services.
* Knowledgeable in PACE, ASD and trauma-informed, child-centred approaches.
* A confident leader with strong governance and compliance skills.
* Holder of a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
