Newbridge Learning Community Moss Lane Platt Bridge Wigan WN2 3TL Salary: Grade 4, 12,060 - 12,644 per annum. 12.85 - 13.47 per hour 18 hours per week, working full year Required as soon as possible Newbridge Learning Community is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our site team. In this hands-on role the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of maintenance and repairs across our school site and ground to ensure facilities are well-maintained, compliant and fit for purpose. Newbridge is an SEMH secondary school for 88 pupils. The successful candidate will: Practical skills with an ability to carry out duties including cleaning, manual handling, security patrols, repair work and preventative maintenance. Knowledge of Health & Safety and hygiene procedures and precautions. Knowledge of moving and handling procedures and an ability to carry out tasks regarding Health and Safety procedures. Build effective relationships with all stakeholders and work proactively in all aspects of school life.
