Job Title: Lead Clinician – Educational Psychologist
Location: 3 Dimensions School – Somerset TA20 3AJ
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Mon‑Fri
Contract: Permanent (52 weeks, with flexibility around term‑time contract possible)

The Role
We are looking for a Lead Clinician – Educational Psychologist to manage our in‑house Clinical Team at 3 Dimensions School. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students who may present with complex profiles of need – autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health needs.
* Target‑led focus on meeting the needs of EHCP plans via the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’ and ‘individual’ clinical ways of working.
* Coordinate the line management of the onsite clinical team.
* Lead on service development of the clinical school‑based service in partnership with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Maintain a person‑centred, empowering approach, safeguard culture and ensure pupils are heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect them.
Location
3 Dimensions School – Somerset TA20 3AJ is part of our Options Autism brand and is an independent specialist day school supporting children and young people aged 7 – 25.

Essential Criteria
* Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology.
* Valid and up to date professional registration & membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to work dynamically and within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred).
