This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies. The Role: As a Day Service Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in planning, leading, and facilitating meaningful group activities. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help service users gain new skills, build confidence, and enjoy social interaction in a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate group sessions and day-to-day activities for adults with learning disabilities. Plan and deliver fun, stimulating and person-centred activities (e.g., arts & crafts, music, cooking, gentle exercise, life skills). Support individuals in achieving personal goals and encouraging participation. Promote a positive, inclusive and respectful environment. Contribute to care planning and work collaboratively with families and other professionals. About You: Experience working with people with learning disabilities (desirable but not essential - training can be provided). Able to think creatively and plan engaging, inclusive group activities.
