We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the River Health Delivery Team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Where you fit in! As our Project Manager you will: Join our River Health Asset Delivery Team, managing and successfully delivering capital projects on our wastewater sites to time, cost & quality working. Lead collaborative project teams consisting of YW & delivery Partner colleagues, plus other stakeholders, to efficiently deliver your programme of work. Manage a programme of different projects on multiple sites and of varying values at any one time. Draft and manage NEC suite contracts with our Partners, assisted by our Project Delivery Engineers & commercial colleagues. Build relationships and adopt a partnering approach to the management of the Contracts, seeking to resolve issues between YW and Contractor an amicable manner. Provide assurance that all parties are working in accordance with the contract by requesting and reviewing documentation/evidence and agreeing an assurance plan as required. All formal communications required for the successful administration of the contract are made within the timescales defined in the Contract. Any early warning notices or potential compensation events are discussed as soon as practicable to allow chance for any potential mitigations to be implemented. Work with key stakeholders and customers, both internal & external, maintaining effective communication, positive relationships, and managed expectations. Obtain project funding approvals, and maintain good financial governance throughout the life of your projects. Ensure accurate project data is maintained in various systems, including monthly forecasting of expenditure and key milestone dates. What skills & qualifications you will need: Experience working in a project team or similar environment. Experience of using SAP, managing budgets and interpreting financial data. Build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Personable nature and collaborative approach. Strong communicator both written and verbally. Confident to challenge and question to ensure project success. Problem solving to resolve and mediate project issues. Comfortable working independently and taking the initiative. A full UK driving licence. Previous experience working as a Project Manager in the Water Industry or broader Construction / Civils Industry. You will also benefit from having: NEC4 Accreditation. Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations. We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of 1 day in the office / on site per week.This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it.
