Futures is working with a well known manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Leeds who are going through a period of continued growth. We are looking to appoint a Panel Wirer to take ownership of assembling, wiring, and carrying out functional tests on electrical control panels and related systems. Working within a supportive production team, you’ll follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure every unit is built safely, accurately, and to a consistently high standard. Roles & Responsibilities Installing and wiring components including contactors, relays, switches, and drives. Conducting electrical testing and inspection before dispatch. Adhering to all applicable safety procedures and quality requirements. Collaborating with design engineers and production leads to resolve any build or wiring challenges. Interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings. Assembling and wiring complete control panels from initial build through to final checks. Crimping, soldering, and terminating cables, connectors, and components. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Assembler, or in a comparable electrical assembly position. Solid knowledge of electrical control systems and componentry. Confident working from detailed electrical drawings and diagrams. High level of accuracy, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Strong team ethic and a proactive approach to safe working.
