At Holcims Haughmond Hill Quarry in Shrewsbury, youll do exactly that.
As part of a small, friendly, and supportive team, youll play a vital role in keeping production moving and machinery in top condition.
As a Fitter reporting to our Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently carrying out planned maintenance and repairs to the site and equipment to maintain our asset capacity and value.
What Youll Be Doing Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, and repairs on site equipment.
Responding quickly to breakdowns and following up with permanent solutions.
Supporting safe systems of work, inspections, and accurate reporting via our maintenance systems.
Maintaining tidy, safe working areas and assisting in keeping production on track.
What Youll Bring A positive, flexible, and team-focused mindset.
Mechanical maintenance experience, ideally with a technical qualification (NVQ3 or equivalent) or time served.
Welding (Shielded metal & Arc) and fabrication experience is mandatory.
Previous experience in the quarry is desirable Organisational skills and IT literacy.
