Hours of work &contract:
Full time contracts up to 40 hours per week over seven days, may include weekends, late nights and Bank Holiday working.
Job Summary:
Ensure all Departments are up to date in risk assessments and ensure health & safety best practice is always kept. Keep paperwork for this up to date. Ensure company legislation is kept in date with any compliance or legal requirement. To provide a professional, friendly, and efficient service. Aiding and undertaking maintenance duties whilst ensuring compliance to company policies, ‘best practice’, and current legislation. To repair if competent to do so, any item that may cause a Health & Safety risk around the store. All jobs must be completed to a high quality standard and also as efficiently as possible. Learn & understand the infrastructure of the site which includes: Gas, Water, Electric, Drainage, Lease line & Wi-Fi, Oil, Renewable Energy.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
· Good oral communication skills
. Ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments.
· Good interpersonal and customer facing skills, able to empathize, maintain professionalism, display patience and politeness within a sometimes-pressurized environment.
· A conscientious, flexible and ‘can do’ working style. Confidence to deal with difficult situations, problem solving and to know when appropriate to seek guidance.
· Proven drive and enthusiasm.
· Good security awareness and understanding of the vulnerability of stock within a retail environment.
· Good team working skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
· The ability to use equipment provided after training.
Health & Safety:
· Follow all H&S training that you have been given. Ensure that those around you are always trained and ask if you would like to further your training.

· To provide an efficient and effective service, understanding the business needs and requirements, working to exceed these wherever possible.
· To demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed, and flexible attitude towards customers and other team members, recognizing the importance and benefits of effective team working
· Ensure compliance to relevant policies throughout.
· Overseeing Health & Safety best practice For Hollybush Garden Centre.
