Experience working with children is essential for these roles but we are open to applicants with experience in other childcare settings.
Your role as a Primary Teaching Assistant is pivotal to the overall success of the school and children's progress. For the strongest educators, these roles often lead to permanent recruitment.
About the Role
* Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
* Providing 1:1 and small group support in the classroom
* Helping children feel safe, included, and ready to learn
* Working closely with teachers, SENDCos and external professionals to support progress
What We're Looking For
* A calm, patient and caring approach
* Experience with SEN is great - but not essential
* A genuine interest in education and helping young people thrive
* A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
