Medical Negligence Solicitor required, hybrid working is available. Their Clinical Negligence department is one of the leading teams in the country, offering expert legal representation in complex and high-profile cases. Due to recent successes, my client is expanding the department and seeking a Medical Negligence Solicitor (2-4 years PQE) to join their growing team.\n \n Position Overview:\n \n This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked team of expert solicitors.

The successful candidate will handle a varied and challenging caseload, working on inquests, psychiatric and fatal cases, and claims involving Human Rights Act issues. A passion for access to justice and a strong background in medical negligence litigation are essential.\n \n Key Responsibilities of the Negligence Solicitor:\n\n• Manage a caseload of medical negligence claims, including inquests, psychiatric injury, fatal cases, and Human Rights Act claims.\n • Conduct legal research, case preparation, and client advocacy.\n • Work closely with medical experts and counsel to develop case strategy.\n • Support and represent clients at inquests and hearings.\n • Provide clear, compassionate, and expert legal advice to clients.\n • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.\n • Contribute to the growth and success of the Clinical Negligence department.\n \n Requirements of the Negligence Solicitor:\n \n Essential:\n • 2-4 years PQE as a Medical Negligence Solicitor.\n • Experience handling inquests, psychiatric injury, fatal cases, and Human Rights Act claims.\n • Strong client care skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.\n • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n • Excellent legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.\n • A genuine passion for access to justice.\n \n Desirable:\n • Experience working on high-profile and complex medical negligence claims.\n • Familiarity with Legal Aid funding and alternative dispute resolution in clinical negligence cases.\n \nBenefits:\n\n • Competitive salary\n • Excellent career development opportunities\n • Strong focus on training and professional growth\n • Modern Central London offices with excellent IT facilities and support\n \nIf you're a Negligence Solicitor ready to take the next step in your career, apply today.
