The school is conveniently located just a short drive from Hitchin, Harpenden and Luton. This small 1-form entry school offers a close-knit, supportive environment where every child is known as an individual. Staff work collaboratively to create a nurturing atmosphere that allows pupils to grow in confidence, develop independence and build strong foundations for lifelong learning. The Role: Full class teaching responsibility within Reception Delivering high-quality EYFS provision in line with statutory guidance Creating an engaging, stimulating and language-rich environment Monitoring progress and supporting children's personal and academic development Working closely with colleagues and parents to ensure positive outcomes The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience teaching Reception Strong knowledge of early years practice and phonics A nurturing, proactive and reflective approach Ready to make an immediate impact from the Summer Term Salary will be in line with the Main or Upper Pay Scale (£33,000-£52,000 depending on experience).
