The client offers a truly holistic service across financial planning, wealth management, investment management, and professional services. They are award‑winning, regularly featured in the financial press, and PE backed for further growth. This newly created paraplanner role is located at their Maidstone regional hub.
Responsibilities
* Compiling detailed financial planning reports for financial planners to present to clients
* Supporting financial planners by researching products and helping find suitable solutions for clients
* Assisting with reviews and requests, acting as the point of contact for clients' technical day‑to‑day queries
* Arranging for plans to be submitted to company providers
* Maintaining client records on company software, ensuring all files are well‑presented, accurate and compliant
* Preparing client review packs and conducting illustration requests
* Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
* Complying with all firm and industry guidelines, rules and regulations
Role Requirements
* Experience in a financial advice firm with paraplanning skills is essential
* Diploma qualified is highly desirable, but consideration will be given to candidates with relevant skills and experience
* Experience in using IO/Intelligent Office software is ideal
* Reliable with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
* Outstanding communication skills at all levels
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Experience working as part of a team
* Excellent organisational and multi‑tasking abilities are essential
* Flexibility and adaptability to cope with change
* Confident with IT and office software packages Word, Excel and PowerPoint

This opportunity is offered on a hybrid working week: 3 days in office and 2 days working from home.
