Job Description: Homeless Housing Coordinator Who You Are You are a knowledgeable and experienced professional with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals threatened with homelessness. You possess expert knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act, housing policies, and relevant case law. You are committed to providing exceptional support to prevent and address homelessness. What the job involves The role involves working within the Initial Assessment Team to provide expert advice and support to individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness. You will collaborate with partners to enhance housing resilience and sustainment as part of Enfield’s Early Help strategy. The position requires you to deliver direct support through home visits and manage cases to prevent homelessness and reduce reliance on temporary accommodation. Skills Expert knowledge in housing and homelessness policy and legislation Experience with home visits and welfare benefits Understanding of possession orders and evictions Ability to collaborate effectively with partners Strong knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children
