Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or similar is desirable but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and induction for all new team members!
As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire, you will join a fantastic team. Your responsibilities may include:
* Assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
* Supporting clients in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
* Promoting independence and supporting our Person-Centred approach to help clients achieve their individual goals.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

To succeed in this role, you should:
* Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Be flexible and creative in working with clients and their families.
* Personal care experience is preferred but not essential.
* Be able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
* Be willing to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota if required.
