This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can turn toga talk into top grades, making the myths, battles and philosophies of the ancient world feel as engaging as tomorrow's trends.
We're looking for more than just subject knowledge. If you can inspire, engage and guide learners through the wonders of Ancient History and Classical Civilisation, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities include:
* Teaching GCSE and A-Level Ancient History & Classical Civilisation
* Acting as a personal tutor, offering 1:1 support and guidance
* Designing schemes of work that bring learning to life
* Creating engaging resources and planning enriching trips
* Championing the subject at open days and college events
Requirements:
* A degree-level qualification in a relevant subject
* Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve this with sponsorship)
* Experience tutoring Level 3 learners and preparing them for Higher Education
* Excellent communication, time management and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusion
