Position Summary: Cat Rayburn, Manager of Product Design and Research at Perforce, is seeking a Senior Product Researcher. This position is poised to elevate our UX research practices, introducing and leading research initiatives within teams previously unacquainted with user research methodologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting and applying research to foster a deeper understanding of our users, ensuring their needs and experiences are at the heart of our product design process. Responsibilities: Work closely with product managers to understand product goals, defining research objectives and scopes that align with these aims. Design and execute user research from end-to-end - from identifying research needs, planning, and conducting to analyzing and communicating findings. Effectively communicate research findings across teams and stakeholders, ensuring actionable insights are understood and implemented. Expand the UX research practice across the organization, introducing research methodologies to teams and projects new to UX insights. Actively contribute to our team's practice by collaborating with fellow researchers, sharing knowledge and best practices, and elevating our collective skills and methodologies. Requirements: 4-5 years of experience in user research or a related field, showcasing a portfolio of impactful research projects. Self-motivated and able to manage your own time and projects effectively. A self-directed learner with a passion for staying ahead in the field of UX research. Solid experience with in-depth interviews, usability testing, concept testing, and other qualitative research methodologies. Some experience with quantitative research methodologies like surveys and analytics reviews. The ability to choose the right methodologies based on the research goals, including developing multi-step research plans. Clear, articulate communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. Comfortable in a highly technical environment. Our users are DevOps professionals who face complex technical challenges. While you don't need to be a DevOps expert to succeed in this role, you must be willing to learn the basics to understand our users' challenges.
