Due to continued expansion, my client, a full service Legal 500 firm, is seeking a Children’s Panel Accredited Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its dedicated team. This role offers high-quality work, strong career progression and the chance to make a genuine difference in children’s lives. Key Responsibilities You will manage a varied caseload, including: Care proceedings Emergency Protection Orders (EPOs) Special Guardianship and adoption matters Private law applications, including Rule 16.4 instructions Separate representation of competent children Candidate Requirements To be successful in this role, you will have: Children’s Panel Accreditation (essential) Ideally 5 years’ PQE in childcare law Strong advocacy skills with confidence representing clients in court Experience handling complex public and private childcare matters The ability to provide clear, practical legal advice with empathy and professionalism A genuine passion for childcare law and access to justice A following of guardians would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
