Key Responsibilities As a Highways Supervisor, you will: * Collaborate with Project Management to optimize workforce levels, materials, and project progress. * Ensure optimal labor levels while adhering to VVB CORE principles. * Mentor apprentices, including allocating work and reporting on progress. * Supervise subcontractors and stakeholders on-site to maintain project standards. * Manage daily workforce activities to meet project timelines. * Uphold health and safety standards, addressing concerns promptly with the Project Manager. * Compile daily and weekly reports. * Maintain equipment and report breakages. * Interpret, communicate, and mark up site drawings and documentation. * Validate test certificates to ensure quality of work. * Collaborate closely with engineers and subcontractors on installation and buildability issues. Person Specification Technical Knowledge and Skills Essential: - Knowledge of H&S legislation. - Demonstrable understanding and knowledge of CDM processes. - Ability to interpret drawings.
