With a collaborative and forward-thinking culture, they offer an excellent environment for skilled engineers to thrive.\n\nWorking Hours: Full-time, flexibility required (including occasional weekends, overtime, and call-outs).\n\nJob Description:\n\nAs a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring all machinery and services are maintained and fully functional to maximise productivity across the site.
This involves:\n\n * \n\n Carrying out breakdown repairs, planned maintenance, and modifications to equipment, services, and buildings.\n\n * \n\n Maintaining health & safety standards and assisting with risk assessments.\n\n * \n\n Recording work on equipment within the Planned Preventative Maintenance (M3) system.\n\n * \n\n Ordering and managing spare parts.\n\n * \n\n Supporting root cause analysis for equipment failures.\n\n * \n\n Working closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations.\n\n * \n\n Keeping electrical drawings, documentation, and test certificates up to date.\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\nEssential:\n\n * \n\n BTEC or HNC in Engineering (or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n Completed engineering apprenticeship.\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition qualification.\n\n * \n\n Experience working with inverters, servo, DC drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.\n\n * \n\n Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work with heavy equipment, at heights, and in confined spaces.\n\n * \n\n Team player with good communication skills.\n\n * \n\n Flexible and self-motivated, willing to work weekends/overtime and attend callouts.\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n PLC programming experience.\n\n * \n\n Testing & verification qualification (2394-01).\n\n * \n\n Experience in food manufacturing.\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of steam boilers and systems.\n\n * \n\n Boiler operator training.\n\n * \n\n Computer literacy and experience with resource planning software (M3).\n\n * \n\n Food Hygiene or Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH Managing Safely).\n\nWhy Should You Apply?\n\n * \n\n Join a well-established and respected manufacturing business.\n\n * \n\n Excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.\n\n * \n\n Work in a supportive team environment with strong values of teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation.\n\n * \n\n A role with variety, challenge, and the chance to make a real impact on operations
