We’re supporting a global biopharma organisation in hiring a Clinical Pharmacology leader to join their team.
đź’ˇ Key Highlights:
* Neuroscience experience is essential – candidates must have hands-on experience in Clinical Pharmacology within Neuroscience (no specific indication required).
* The role is scientific and strategic, not operational.
* You’ll be the primary Clinical Pharmacology representative in Europe, working closely with a US-based team.
* No line management responsibilities – this is an individual contributor role.
* Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and regulatory bodies.
🔬 Responsibilities:
* Lead the clinical pharmacology strategy from candidate nomination through to Phase 4.
* Design and support clinical studies (Phases 1–4), including PK/PD data analysis and interpretation.
* Serve as Clinical Pharmacology Lead on cross-functional teams, contributing to dose selection and scientific rationale.
* Collaborate with Pharmacometrics leads to support modelling for internal and regulatory decision-making.
* Contribute to regulatory submissions (IND, NDA/BLA) and address agency queries.
* Manage external consultants and vendors.
* Support scientific publications and presentations.
🧠What You’ll Bring:
* PhD or MD with significant experience in clinical pharmacology and PK/PD analysis.
* Proven track record in Neuroscience clinical pharmacology.
* Strong understanding of drug development and regulatory processes.
* Proficiency in PK/PD software (e.g., Phoenix WinNonlin, R, NONMEM).
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
