Children's Social Worker / Senior Social Worker
Salary: £39,152 - £47,181 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Shire Hall, Gloucester, GL1 2TG
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday

About the Role: Gloucestershire County Council is seeking Children's Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to join our teams across our six localities. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced social workers to join a focused and ambitious local authority committed to delivering excellent outcomes for children and young people.
As a Social Worker, you will play a key role in providing support, protection and positive outcomes for children and families across Gloucestershire. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure the best possible services are delivered to those in need.

* Have a minimum of 2 years' UK experience in statutory children's services
* Are willing to relocate to Gloucestershire
What We Offer
* Salary: £39,152 - £47,181 per annum (dependent on experience)
* £4,000 welcome payment
* £2,000 annual retention payment
* Hybrid working (minimum 2-3 days in the office)
* 25.5 days annual leave, rising to 30.5 days after 5 years' service
* Relocation allowance up to £8,000
About You
* Social Work England registration
* A recognised Social Work qualification
* Completed ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment)
* Experience as a frontline Social Worker (Senior level desirable)
* A full and valid UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel across the county
* Enhanced DBS clearance covering Adults and Children
