Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing all makes and models of vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as servicing, tyre changes and brake discs and pads
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engine malfunctions, brake problems, and electrical system failures
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential problems or areas of concern
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose issues and make necessary repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborate with team members to prioritise and complete repair jobs in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices when working with vehicles and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
