Job Overview
We are looking for HGV Drivers to play a vital role in the day‑to‑day collection of refuse within the local community of Leicestershire. You will head out with your crew each day to navigate the rear steer vehicle through residential areas to collect general waste, recycling, and garden waste.
Responsibilities
* Drive the rear steer vehicle safely and efficiently to collect general waste, recycling, and garden waste in residential areas.
* Work with your crew to maintain collection schedules and meet daily targets.
* Follow all health and safety regulations during operations.
Qualifications
* Full UK HGV Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
* Previous refuse driving experience is an advantage but not essential.
* Excellent team player, willing to go the extra mile.
* Polite, professional, and hard‑working.
Working Hours and Pay
* Monday to Friday, start times from 06:30.
* Minimum 7 hours per shift paid, even if a shorter day.
* Pay rate: £14.60 per hour.
Benefits
* Holiday accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.
