Job Description
* Processing invoices accurately and on time.
* Reconciling supplier statements against company records.
* Preparing payment runs and processing BACS payments.
* Dealing with supplier enquiries.
* Managing expenses and payments.
* Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
* Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
* Maintaining confidentiality of organisational information.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Experience in a team member role within an accounting or finance department.
* Familiarity with accounting software.
