Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Children's Sports Coaches to join our growing team. The successful candidate will deliver a variety of sports and physical activity sessions to children aged 2–11 in schools, nurseries, and community settings. You will be a positive role model, able to engage children of all abilities, and create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver fun, structured, and age-appropriate sports sessions.
* Encourage participation and skill development in a range of sports and physical activities.
* Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of all children.
* Work in line with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
* Build positive relationships with schools, nurseries, parents, and children.
* Promote teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles.
* Maintain equipment and ensure a safe play environment.
Requirements
* Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, or childcare).
* A recognised sports coaching or teaching qualification (e.g., Level 1/2 coaching certificate, PE-related qualification) is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Energetic, reliable, and passionate about working with children.
* Ability to travel across North London.
* An up-to-date DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* First Aid and Safeguarding certificates are desirable (training can be provided).
